Goodbye to my friend, Mr. Arthur Baltzell. Mr. Arthur owned the Shields building downtown for many years. A host of Meridian lawyers rented space in the Shields building over the years and when I opened for business, broke but with a new law license, he rented me space I could afford. Beyond being the best landlord, he grew to be a good friend and I will miss him greatly. So long friend, May we meet again in the beyond. Arthur Paul Baltzell 1930-2019.

I was very sorry to hear of Arthur's passing. I just found out this morning (07/10/2019). He was a good friend to my mother at 1st Mississippi for years and she thought the world of him. Please accept my deepest condolences.
