Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ridinger will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Corey Fontan officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ridinger, 65, of Meridian, passed away Thursday at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He was a longtime employee of Winn Dixie, retiring after 32 years of service. During his time with Winn Dixie, he started as a young man, bagging groceries and eventually served in various management positions prior to his retirement. Family and friends will always remember his mechanical inclination; he liked to work on various things, solving problems when things did not operate properly, loved working on engines and creating items through his woodworking.
Mr. Ridinger is survived by his daughter Kimberly Jones (Justin); son Casey Adam Ridinger (Kim); sister Faye Beasley (Tommy) and sister in law Ouida Ridinger. He is also survived by nephews Barney Ridinger, Thomas Dale Beasley II and James Matthew Beasley; niece Natosha Michelle Burrow along with numerous cousins, family members, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur Oliver and Ruby Cooley Ridinger; brothers James A. Ridinger, David Larry Ridinger and Gary Ridinger.
Pallbearers will be Walter Ridinger, Barney Ridinger, Richard Morris, Sonny Morris, Matthew Beasley and Tommy Beasley.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
