Bonnie's Story

A beautiful soul has gone home to be with the Lord. Bonnie Lee Roberson, 41, passed on August 9, 2017 at University Medical Center in Jackson as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on August 7, 2017. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 12th at Northcrest Baptist Church in Meridian where she and her children are members. The service, officiated by Brother Danny Lanier, will also be held at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery immediately following.

Pallbearers will be Jay Boykin, Dave Mitchell, Casey Burt, Jason Burt, Ben Leake, and John Green.

Bonnie was born on February 9, 1976 in Santa Rosa California to Bob and Cora Roberson. She graduated from Analy High School in Sebastapol, California and attended Santa Rosa Jr College. She earned a degree in Computer Graphics and Design. While living in Meridian, she was employed by Anderson Hospital, Citizens National Bank and for the past 8 years, as an IT Analyst for Tower International.

Bonnie is the mother of 19 year old Kyle Robert Stockstill, 15 year old Jonathan Thomas Stockstill, and 11 year old Emma Jane Smith of Meridian. She is the daughter of Bob and Cora Roberson of Bailey; sister to John Roberson (Karl) of New York and David Roberson (Alicia) of Florida; aunt to Carlee, Luke, Ryan, and Sophia Roberson of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James Randolph Weathers, Sr. and Ruby Lee Weathers of Kemper County, and her paternal grandparents, George James Roberson, Jr. and Grace Florence Roberson of California.

Bonnie's beauty and artistic talents were exceeded only by her quick smile and kind heart. She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and a multitude of friends.
