Funeral services for Chris Hudnall will begin at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with Bro. Andy May and Bro. Chuck Overby officiating. Interment will follow at Arkadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Hudnall, 49, of Collinsville, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and friends, also being very active in his community. He was known as a loving father and would help anyone in their time of need. He loved his animals and pets of all sizes. Chris loved to sing and perform for friends and family with his band at any given opportunity. Chris was an active member of Pine Forest Baptist Church; he was also a member of Meridian Phi Delta Kappa and was also a Mason. He was a devout family man, he loved and cared for each member deeply, with his goal of unity for each side.
Chris is survived by his wife, Stephanie Hudnall; children, Ashley Laird (Kyle), Logan Hudnall (Alley), Trent Butler (Lindsey), and Travis Butler (Summer). Grandchildren, Canon Butler, Judson Butler, McKynzie Butler, Tatum Butler, Rhett Henry Butler, Eva Jean Hudnall, and Baby Laird on the way. Mother, Jennifer Thomas (Ronnie), step-mother, Lou Hudnall; siblings, Kelly Glaskox (Rob), Jay Hudnall (Alicia), and Courtney Barlow (Jason) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, L.C. Hudnall; grandparents, Gene and Eva Hudnall and Ernest and Ola Mae Joyner.
Pallbearers will be Logan Hudnall, Ben Crimm, Hondo Sartin, Andy Mosley, Jamie Mosley, Benjy Pittman, Chase Glaskox, and Jerry Wayne Joyner.
The family request memorials be made to Blair E. Batson Children's hospital in lieu of flowers.
