Clyde Othell Frazier
Celebration of life services for Mr. Frazier will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Meridian, with Brother Randy Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Frazier Grove Church of God Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mr. Frazier, 90, of Meridian, passed away November 8 at the VA Nursing Home in Kosciusko.
Othell was born and raised in Meridian. He served in the U S Army during WWII, where he was stationed in Philippines and Japan. Othell was a lifelong member of Frazier Grove Church of God where he served as a deacon for sixty years. Many will remember Othell for his kind and loving spirit, faithfulness to his family and God, and the joy he shared with others.
He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Margaret Earlene Frazier; children, Brenda (Johnny) Wood and Gilbert O. (Cindy) Frazier; grandchildren, Tim(LeAnn) Wood, Philip (Teri) Frazier and Amy (Hank) Fairchild; great-grandchildren, Leah Wood, Annalise Wood, Sydney Frazier, Ruby Kate Fairchild and Sadie Gayle Fairchild, as well as three brothers and three sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Bessie Daniels Frazier, and five siblings.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the VA Nursing Home in Kosciusko and Sta-Home Health and Hospice, for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at the funeral home.
