Dorothy (Dot) Elizabeth Broadhead Wall, longtime resident of Butler, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at Northpointe Health and Rehabilitation Center in Meridian, Miss. at the age of 86.
She is survived by her son, William Wall of Andalusia, Ala.; her daughter, Elizabeth Wall Logan (Keith) of Meridian, Miss.; five grandchildren, Matthew Hutchinson (Kerry) of Meridian, Miss., Mark Wall of Jacksonville, Fla., Daniel Wall of Andalusia, Ala., Clayton Logan (Courtney) of Allen, Texas, and Angela Logan Jones of Madison, Miss.; five great-grandchildren, Joseph & Anna Claire Hutchinson, Ethan Logan, Cooper and Logan Jones; one sister, Gladys Beard of Baton Rouge, La.; two sister-in-laws, Brenda Broadhead of Saraland, Ala., Marge Broadhead Taylor of Millry, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Wall; parents, Lottie Lundy Broadhead and Homer Broadhead, Sr.; siblings, Ellen Dickey, Virginia Roberts, Homer Broadhead, Jr., Edna Bunette, Herman Broadhead and Ray Broadhead.
The family wishes to express deep appreciation to the caregivers at Northpointe Health and Rehabilitation Center and Sta-Home Hospice.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel in Butler with the Rev. Ray Lane officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior services.
