DENHAM SPRINGS, La. - With broken hearts, we announce the greatest light of our earthly life passing to her next journey. Florita Ward Lee of Denham Springs, La., was born June 30, 1930, in Meridian, Miss. She left this earth on Jan 31, 2019.
She was a child of God and lived her life with kindness and gentleness. Both a friend and advocate to all creatures great and small. She lived with grace, accepting change and diversity with love. She will live on in the memories of all who knew her.
She leaves family and friends to hold her memory, daughters Vicki Lee, Vickie Richard, Beth Bryant, Belinda Zeigler; grandchildren, Sally Spence, Jonathan Zeigler; great-grandchildren Jacie and Nathan Spence, Jordan Van OsDell and Kiya Currier Van OsDell; great-great-grandchildren Kidan and Kai Currier Van Osdell; her beloved sisters, Mae Jean Mabry, Patsy Rogers and George Rogers of Meridian, Miss; and many loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford "Babe" and Mae Ward of Meridian, brother, William "Billy" Ward of Jackson, Miss., and her husband of many years Homer Lee Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs, La., on Friday, Feb. 8, 2019.
In her memory donations can be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs La., Louisiana Pet Pantry or charity of your choice.
