Gerald Glen Cross, Jr.
Funeral services for Gerald Glen Cross, Jr. will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Davey Wilkinson officiating. Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Cross, age 54, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at his home.
He worked as a supervisor at Bimbo Bakery and worked part-time at RDT Metal Works.
He is survived by his wife since 1996, Robin Cross; children, Matthew Gerald Cross and fiancé, Alesha Redmond, Brandi Gayle Johnson, Joseph Scott Snowden II, Allison Danielle Cross and fiancé, James Scarbrough, Cody Shayne Snowden, and Dakota Ray Henry; grandchildren, Colton Cross, Alex Cross, Jaylee Scarbrough, Jase Scarbrough, Carmen Scarbrough, Camrien Scarbrough, Michael Kade Thrash, Kylee Jade Thrash, and Robert Kyle Thrash; brother, Joe Cross; step-mother, Sarah Jane Cross; step-brother, Rusty Rash; step-sisters, Robin Rash, Jessie Dearman and Libby Jones; uncle, Bobby Gibson; aunts, Lucille Gibson and Jeanette Williams; mother of his children, Kathy Young; and his faithful furry companions, Wee-Wee and Bear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Glen Cross, Sr. and Bobbie Jean Cross; grandmother, Mary Sue Cross; and mother-in-law, Ruth Wayne White.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Richardson, Keith Lee, Glenn Wedgeworth, Rusty Rash, Henry Horton, and Dwight Howze.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Dewayne Creel, Jerry Hood, and Darron Gowdy.
