Funeral services for Jack Allen Tedder will be held Sunday, June 4, 2017, at 2:30 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with Brother Ryan Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Hayes Cemetery in Causeyville community.
Mr. Tedder, age 85, of Causeyville, passed away June 1 at Andersons.
Jack was a veteran of the US Air Force and served his county during the Korean War. He retired from Texaco after more than twenty-five years as a pipeline terminal operator. Jack was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed guns, hunting, and fishing and was a member of Causeyville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-seven years, Merrelese Tedder; children, Patricia (Larry) Hatten, Maria (Skip Taylor) Tedder, and Flint (Lessa) Tedder; grandchildren, Lawrence (Marie) Hatten, III, Nickolee (Steve) Roberts, Chesney (Casey) Stevens, and Alanna Tedder; 4 great-grandchildren, with another on the way; sisters, Ruth Carr, Mary Alice (Tom) Volk, Martha Virigina (Donald) Germany, and brother, Jerry (Pauline) Tedder.
He was preceded in death by father, Thomas H. Tedder, mother, Ruth Allen Tedder, and brother, Dr. T.H. Tedder, Jr.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at James T. Champion Nursing Facility for the loving and compassionate care they have given Jack for the last five years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Causeyville Baptist Church The Indiana Church Plant Fund or to Hayes Cemetery Fund.
Pallbearers will be Raphael Germany, Anthony Germany, Russell Carr, Steven Labbe, Tony McNair, and Scotty Taylor.
