A graveside service for John Lee Harbour will be held Sunday, August 5, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery in DeKalb. Rev. Ronnie Gomillion, Rev. James Ruffin and Rev. Charles Grubbs will officiate, with Stephens Funeral Home of DeKalb in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Harbour, age 85, of DeKalb, passed away August 3 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
John was a lifelong resident of Kemper county. He worked for thirty years as a self-employed contractor. Everyone that worked for him referred to him as Boss Man.
Mr. Harbour is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Bobbie Harbour; son, Robert G. Bob Harbour, and daughter, Janet Harbour Wade; grandchildren, Brandy (Kenny) Robinson, John Bradford (Linden) Barefield, Julia (Andy) McClelland, Stephanie (Jamie) McCain and Robert J. RJ (Christine) Harbour, as well as ten great-grandchildren. Hes also survived by his sister, Martha Raye (Keith) Barnes and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Gully, Wayne Eldridge, Roy VanDevender, Joe VanDevender , Jim VanDevender, Jerry Nelson and Keith Barnes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Russell, Joe Donovan, Glenn Crawford, Patrick Granger, Johnny Whitsett, Mike Luke, Curtis Creer, Chris Cole, Billy Haskins, Cliff Houston, Elmer McIntosh, Glenn Williams and Rudy Bounds.

Visitation will be held at Stephens Funeral Home in DeKalb from 2:00 p.m. until just before the graveside service.
