Margaret Napp Broadhead

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Napp Broadhead will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home with the Revs. Randy Satcher, Dr. Hack McMullen, and Rev. Reggie Manning officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Broadhead, 92, passed away, Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, at Bedford Care Center of Marion.
Mrs. Broadhead retired as a Nursery Nurse after working at Rush Foundation Hospital and Anderson Regional Medical Center. She loved to cook for family and friends and was renowned for her chicken and dumplings, chicken and rice and homemade biscuits.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Broadhead (Shirley) and Earl Broadhead (Nan); daughter-in-laws Joann Broadhead and Lois Broadhead; 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Evelyn Holland and a special friend and roommate, Mrs. Johnnie Nichols and family.
Mrs. Broadhead is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Austin L. Broadhead; her sons, Leo Broadhead and Billy Broadhead. Grandchildren, Nita Joyce Preston, James Broadhead and Darrell Fuller.
The family would like to express special thanks to Mrs. Broadhead's family and staff at Bedford Care Center of Marion.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
