Memorial services for Margie Lou Rogers Watson will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church with Reverend Hal Bates and Reverend Wade Ricks officiating. Burial will be at First Baptist Church of Collinsville Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Watson, age 85, of Collinsville, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 in Collinsville.
Margie was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville, where she was a lifetime choir member. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Margie enjoyed exercising with her womens group at Collinsville Fitness Center and was an avid reader. Music was a big part of her life. She grew up playing music and singing with her family.
Survivors include: son, William Derek Watson (Sandy); daughters, Ginger Summerlin (Jeff), Louann Watson and Beth McKeithen (Neil); grandchildren, Alisha Watson, Natalie Summerlin, Lindsey Summerlin, Jodi Williams (Michael) and Colton McKeithen; great granddaughter, Riley Redmon; brothers, Johnny Mac Rogers (Martha) and George Rogers (Pat); sister, Ginger Ezelle (Roderick); numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: husband, James H. Watson; son, Michael Watson; parents, George and Annie Rogers; brothers, Dewayne Rogers and Roy Rogers; and sisters, Bernice Wright, Lois Hixson, Evelyn Miller, Ruth Womble, Ruby Crowson and Willa Fant.
