Patti and I share deep sympathies for your great loss, but we know you are all comforted in the warm Christian love of your family and surrounding friends. I will always cherish Mrs. Sollie, as she and others in our small, close knit community helped to raise us all and in the right manner. Much love is extended from our family to the Sollie's as we have shared much since the 1950's. May God grant you the peace that comes from His understanding and comfort which await us in Heaven!

Dennis, Everett, and Cassie, we have just read of the passing of your mother. We came to Marion Baptist Church in 1962 where Richard served as the pastor until 1965. We have some very sweet memories of Nell, your father, and the three of you. I still have your mother’s chicken pot pie recipe. We thought it was the best we’d ever eaten.

None of us can lift the grief you are experiencing, but we want to join many others who honor the memory your mother and all she meant to you. Peace and Blessings from Richard and Joy Smith
