Funeral services for Mr. Robert E. "Bobby" Beasley will begin at 12:00 pm Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jim Rickles and Bro. Paul Trosper officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Beasley, 79, of Meridian, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, August 4, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Bobby was a long time member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. He loved his Lord, his family, his church family and his friends. With his leadership abilities he served as a deacon, a treasurer and taught Sunday School.
Bobby worked in management at Southern Electric and Robinson Electric for most of his working career. Upon changing careers, he became a co-owner of Corr-Williams, until he retired.
He had the gift of gab and he loved to use it and he will be truly missed by all who loved him.
Bobby is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Dot Beasley; children, Chelda O'Dell (Jim), Robby Beasley, Toni Beasley, and a very special family friend, Wanda Marshall. Three special fur babies, Tiff, Bitzi, and BooBoo as well as a host of friends and extended family.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Robert Beasley and Bonnie Beasley Nommay.
The family suggest that memorials be made to the Gideons International or your favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Hummingbird Investment group.

It's been a long time since I saw Bobbie , I'm sorry to say.
But he was still a part of my wonderful family and he will be missed. When we were kids he was always one of my favorite people.

I’m sorry to hear about my buddy. I’m out town or I would be there. Praying for the family and the angle that will be taking care of him🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. I forgot please let take his with him.😂
