Funeral services for Robert Hawkins Seal will be held Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Tom Belcher officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Meridian with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Seal was born in Opelika, Alabama on December 8, 1968 while his dad was studying veterinary medicine at Auburn University. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 1, 2017.
Rob was the director of the Lauderdale County Agricultural Center for 17 years. He was an avid horseman, certified farrier, and president of the Mississippi Quarter Horse Association for two terms. As a young man, he showed several state champion and reserve world champion halter horses. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
He is survived by his wife, Bethany Brown Seal; son, Hawk Seal and wife Megan; daughter, Jenna Seal; grandson, Houston Seal; parents, A. Otis Seal, DVM and Sharon Clearman Seal; siblings, Alison Seal Moore, DVM, husband Terry, Clare Seal Brewer, husband Kevin; in-laws, Donna and Ed Evans, and Martha and Danny Brown; several nieces and nephews; Aunt, Ann Schroeder, husband Mark; Uncle, Allen Clearman, Jr.

Pallbearers will be E.W. Goodwin, Tommy Jackson, Phil Jenkins, Greg Kinard, Tom McBeath, Joey McCann, Kurt Schroeder, and Newt Sharp. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Arnold, Kevin Bentley, Kevin Brewer, Charlie Irby, Stanley Pritchett, Terry Moore, and Barry Smith.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 5:00 till 8:00 p.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home and Friday, November 3, one hour prior to the service at Calvary Baptist Church.
