William "Billy"'s Story
Graveside services for Billy Schneeman will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jack Kern officiating. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Schneeman, age 74, of Meridian, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 14, 2018, surrounded by his wife and children.
Billy was a veteran of the United States Army, assigned to the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. He was also a Master Mason and Shriner, on the Shriners Directors Staff for many years, a member of the TC Carter Post 21 of American Legion, a 47-year member of Lodge 1628 of the Loyal Order of Moose, and a member of East Mississippi Sportsmans Association.
Billy loved the beach and boating, even living part-time in Orange Beach, Alabama for 10 years. He enjoyed traveling the world and going on cruises with his wife to many beautiful places.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Schneeman; daughters, Keesha Murphy (Bill), Shea Rush (Bobby), and Christy Hardy (Jay); son, Chris Wright (Whitney); grandchildren, Taylor Tidwell, Caden Rush, Peyton Hardy, Parker Herring, Samantha Hardy, Spence Baucum, Ian Wright, Mason Wright, and Chase Murphy; great grandchildren, Jayleigh, Hayes, Hayden, and Adlee; and his beloved German Shepherd, Inga.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Schneeman; mother, Mary Elizabeth Ewing; and sister, Carol Ann Schneeman.
