Funeral services for Mr. Joel (Joe) Spiller will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Davey Wilkinson and David Keller officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Spiller, 77, of Meridian passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at The Beehive in Marion.
Mr. Spiller was born and reared in Clute, Texas. He was a member of Cokers Chapel UMC and was retired from the US Navy after twenty four and one half years' service. After his retirement, Mr. Spiller continued to work at Meridian Naval Air Station in Civil Service. Joe loved racing, camping, fishing, canoeing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of forty four years, Lois Spiller of Meridian; children, Thomas Spiller and his wife Melinda, Springhill, TN, Ronda Gunn and husband Sammy of Fellowship Community, Doug Todd and his wife Elizabeth of Meridian, Joel Spiller and his wife Tara of Lenaxa, KS, Curtis Spiller and his wife Alisha of Meridian; numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; sister, Nancy Sabrsula and her husband Terry of Lake Jackson, TX; brother, James Spiller and his wife Karen of Elgin IL; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Anita Spiller; and granddaughter, Samantha Spiller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Serendipity Sunday School Class.
