Pensacola, FL - Anthony Clayton Colson, 67, of Pensacola Florida passed away on Friday, June 5th, 2026.

Anthony was born in Hattiesburg, MS on April 29th, 1959, to the late Edward and Myra Bradshaw Colson. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in business administration. In 1985 Anthony married Linda and together they enjoyed over 45 years together, during which they were married for 41 of those years. Following graduation, he and his wife Linda lived in Hattiesburg for a time before moving to Pensacola Florida where they lived happily for 40 years. Anthony enjoyed his career serving as a manager in the Wholesale Beverage business for 36 years. He and Linda both shared a love for travel, water sports, going to the beach and tailgating at football games with family and friends.

Anthony was deeply committed to his family and friends. He also had a passion and talent for cooking; from creating meals from scratch in the kitchen to grilling on the patio.

He really enjoyed spending time with his son and friends at Nascar races and going to the Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, especially during the Snowball Derby.

Anthony is preceded in death by his Father, Edward Colson; and his Mother, Myra "Jenny" Colson.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his loving wife, Linda Colson; his son, Austin Colson; his sister, Regina Briggs (Kendall); his brother, Blaine Colson; as well and his nieces, great nieces and nephews.
