Meridian, MS - My precious Mother Betty Lee Johnson born 09-16-1944 in Key West FL was joined 2-14-2026 with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, along with our beloved family and friends in his grace. Betty Lee gave selflessly to all who needed love , care and support. Never was a ride not given a meal not offered or an animal let alone in a time of need. As a book worm , crossword puzzle genius and spelling bee champion , mom enjoyed keeping her mind sharp.
Betty Lee is survived by her daughter Quincey Butler , son-in-law Johnathan Legg , grandson Patrick Butler , daughter in law Alexis Butler and two grandchildren Ellie and Ensley Butler along with many wonderful family members and friends. We are thankful for Gentiva hospice with their support allowing us the privilege of having mom at home.
Truly a kind , caring and loving soul that blessed myself and the world.
We love you Mom with complete Joy and gratitude for you blessed me beyond measure.
