Bobby  Brewer
Bobby DeWitt Brewer, 93, of Quitman, Miss., passed away Oct. 25, 2019, at his residence.
He was born March 7, 1926, to Cecil and Janie (Roberts) Brewer in Miss.
He served in the U. S. Army Air Corps, serving in WWII and Korea. He served as a deacon in numerous churches and served in many positions and ministry opportunities. He was a Gideon and served in over 50 prison ministries. Mr. Brewer was an Educator for numerous School Districts. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather that loved spending time with family. His hobbies included building fiddles, dulcimers and guitars.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Brewer; daughters, Barbara "Babs" Ann (James) Brewer Crosby and Jane Pendleton "Penny" Brewer Barber (Frank James) Zerbel; grandchildren, Dannalie Patricia Austin Malvaez, Chad Austin, Jeremy David Barber and Cynthia Ann Zerbel Wagner and great-grandchildren, Bobby Malvaez, William (Will) Chad Austin, Sara Grace Austin, Mackenzie Lynn Barber, Shelby Grace Barber, Vaden Alexander Wagner and Adelaide (Addy) McKinley Wagner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Janie Brewer; son-in-law, Ken Barber and granddaughter, Shanna Lynn Austin.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, 9:15 10:30 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Quitman, Miss.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019, 10:30 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Quitman, with Dr. Gene Neal and Ken Purvis officiating. Burial will take place in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Melvin, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Daniels, Jim Hearn, Eric Robinson, Bobby Scott, Dwight Bennett and Daryl Chancellor.
