UNION [ndash] Services for Mr. Carl Dean were held at 3:30 p.m., Monday, March 15, 2021, at Hopewell Baptist Church. Bro. Tommy Anderson officiated. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation was 2-3:30 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church.

Survivors: one son, Joey Dean and wife Faye of Little Rock, Miss.; one daughter, Gina May and husband Jerry of Little Rock, Miss.; five grandchildren: Joseph Dean, Phillip Dean and wife Jamie, Jeremy May and wife Alaina, Zachery May and wife Payton, and Hannah May; two step-grandchildren: Lindsay Atkins and husband Luke, and Ashley Rigdon and husband Adam; ten great-grandchildren: C.J. Dean, Kayden Gibbs, Logan Dean, Cason Dean, Axl Atkins, Bryce Atkins, Olivia Atkins, Adelyn Rigdon, Heidi May, and Wesley May; one great-great-granddaughter, Laynie Marie Dean; one brother, Darrell Dean; one sister, Peggy Brister; one sister-in-law, Chieko; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Carl is preceded in death by his wife: Catherine Dean; two brothers, Clois Dean and Clifton Dean; parents, Otto Dean and Renthia Dean.

Pallbearers: Phillip Dean, Jeremy May, Zachery May, C.J. Dean, Will Hillman, and Jesse Hillman. Honorary pallbearers: Brotherhood of Hopewell Baptist Church.
