Funeral services for Mr. Carnell (Plookie) Newton, 61, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at 11 a.m., at New Hope Blackwater Baptist Church in Daleville, Miss. with Rev Gary Houston officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. New Haven Memorial Funeral Home in DeKalb, Miss. is in charge of the final arrangements.
