Funeral services for Danny Harmon Rew, 69, of Ward will be Friday, July 28 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home in York with Rev. Leon Ballard and Bro. Nat Watkins, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Cokes Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Rew passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at his residence. He was born February 27, 1948 in Auburn, Alabama to John Harmon Rew and Sibyl Grant Rew. He was retired from Alabama Power Company. Survivors include his wife Wanda Clark Rew of Ward, Ala., son Judd Rew (Missy) of Mobile, AL; daughter Katy Yeend (Steve) of Daphne, AL; step-sons Bernie Mitchell (Tracy) of Meridian, MS; Clark Mitchell (Julie) of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren Kayden and Anna Grace Rew, Evan, Carter, Lindy, Morgan, and Drew Mitchell.
