Services for Darlene M. Entrekin will be held Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home in Union with Brother Chris Harrison and Brother Jack Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Union City Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Entrekin, 90, of Union, died Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Union. She was a member of New Ireland Baptist Church and was a Sunday school teacher for 45 years. Darlene loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Entrekin; parents, Jonas and Ora Moody; sisters, Martha Scoggins, Peggy Gray and Wynette Hudson; and a granddaughter, Jeanne Jordan.

She is survived by her son, John Entrekin and wife, Darlene; five grandchildren, John Entrekin, Jr., Chris Entrekin, Torie Strickland and husband, Richard, Nikki Sample and William Dempsey; eleven great-grandchildren; and nieces, Karen Foster and husband, Jack, Charlene Pinson, Tracy Smith and husband, Danny.
