David Kenneth Long Obituary
Memorial services for David Kenneth Long, 79, of York will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10 A.M. at the Chapel of Bumpers Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Ballard officiating. Burial will be in the Sumter Memorial Gardens in Cuba. Visitation will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Long passed away Thursday, June 30th at Sumter Health & Rehabilitation in York. He was a retired service manager for Meridian Coca-Cola Company.
Survivors include his wife Martha Gene Long of York, AL; son David Glenn Long (Pansy) of York, AL; sister Angela Long Brown of Jay, FL; grandchildren Robert Glenn "Bob" Long (Nicole) and Hailey Long Frith (Hunter); great grandchildren Juliana Abston, Avery Long, Britt Long, and Madison Frith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Juveniles Diabetes Research Foundation at 26 Broadway 14th Floor, New York, NY 10004.
