Memorial services for Ms. Dorothy "Dot" Clark will be held Sunday, May 1, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol with burial at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Rev. Angela Halford will officiate.
Mrs. Clark, 80, of Meridian, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at Golden Living Center of Meridian. She was a longtime member of Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a dedicated Christian mother and grandmother, loved by her family and all who knew her. She took great joy in helping others, working in the church and was a friend to all. She attended Sebastopol Attendance Center and was a retired seamstress from Midland Shirt Factory in Union.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Jones (Donald) of Chunky and Debbie French (David) of Union; sisters, Bobbie Gibson and Charlotte Abel (Bill); brother, Charles Cecil Thrash of Sebastopol; grandchildren, Brandi Etheridge (Joey), Candi Thrash (Ronnie), Dusty Jones (Kara), Josh French (Sarah), Levi French and fiancee' Sandy Long; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Clark; daughter, Kathy Clark; her parents, Robert and Lurline Thrash; and brother, Billy Thrash.
Pallbearers will be Josh French, Levi French, Dusty Jones, Ronnie Thrash, Joey Etheridge and Mark Abel.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the doctors, special nurses and CNA's at Golden Living Center and Hospice Compassus for the love and care you gave to our mother during her stay.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 5-8 p.m., at Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol. Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol is in charge of arrangements.
