Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann "Lib" Morgan will be held on Friday, Jan. 31, 2020, at 11 a.m., at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home, with the Revs. Ben Jones and Davey Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Morgan, age 85, of Lauderdale passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mrs. Morgan was a long-time member of Lauderdale United Methodist Church and was a present member of Gateway Community Church of Lauderdale. She worked for many years with her husband, Ralph, in their logging business and the Ralph Morgan Rodeo. She was involved with the Lauderdale Community Development Club and also the Lauderdale County Parkinson's Group.
The family would like to thank each of Mrs. Morgan's caregivers.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ralph Morgan; her son, Johnny Ralph Morgan (Tonya); grandchildren, Blane Morgan and Shelby Morgan; nephew, Ryan Stack; sisters, Virginia Parks (George), Mary Carol Turner (Earl); and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Johnnie Watts.
The family requests memorials be made to Gateway Community Church (3750 Lauderdale Road, Lauderdale, Mississippi 39335) or to The American Parkinson Disease Association (https://www.apdaparkinson.org/1700d2l/).
Pallbearers will be Calvin Brown, Cliff Clayton, Van Dees II, Craig Hitt, Charles Long, Larry Muse, Tim Putnam, and Ricky Simmons. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Alexander, Curtis Barnacastle, James Harper, Robbie Jones, Ronnie Massey, Harold Noe, Dr. Lester Spell, Buddy Steverson, Dennis Sollie, and Charles Ledbetter.
