Clarksville, Tennessee - A celebration of life service for Emily Francis Bryan will begin at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Central United Methodist Church in Meridian, Ms., with the Reverend Scott Wright officiating. The Bryan family will receive guests in the sanctuary beginning at 3:00 PM.

Emily, at the age of 39, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 in Alive Hospice Residence Home in Nashville, Tennessee with her mother and loving and faithful fur baby, Remington Beau at her side. Emily had courageously fought every single day of those 39 years to receive medical care for Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome with multiple comorbidities. She worked tirelessly to inform others of this syndrome, and loved and supported her friends in the Ehlers Danlos community. Her greatest accomplishment was earning her nursing degree from Meridian Community College and being licensed as a registered nurse to practice nursing both in Mississippi and Florida. Unfortunately, she was unable to begin work due to the progression of her illnesses.

Emily is survived by her twin sister, Catherine Patty Bryan; her mother, Lynn Patty Bryan; father, Kriston C. Bryan; brother, Wesley Bryan and nephew Hunter; cousin Jennifer Patty Strang (Jason); and five Bryan uncles, their spouses, and ten Bryan cousins: John (Kaye), Jack (Lela), Rickey (Ann), Chuck (Frances), and Michael (Tina); and family friend, Josephine Hodges. She is also survived by three very special families who loved her unconditionally from June 1, 2025 until her passing: Jennifer and Cameron Richmond, Susan and Jeff Thompson, and Karen and Danny Nagy.

Emily was preceded in death by her grandparents: Sue and Giles Patty and John Bryan and Elisabeth Bryan Burns.
