PHILADELPHIA [ndash] Funeral services for Frank "Ray" McNair were held Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 2 p.m., from McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Ray Spence, Rev. Joseph Knight, Rev. Tommy Conn and Arthur Rhodes officiating. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McNair, 70, of Union, died Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Ray was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. He was a 1971 graduate of Neshoba Central and attended MSU where he earned his BS Degree in Agricultural Science, Master's Degree and Educational Specialist Degree in Community Counseling. On Sept. 1, 1993, he received his license for Social Worker and on Jan. 14, 2000, he received his license in Marriage and Family Therapy. He was the Program Director for Senior Life at Neshoba County General Hospital and retired after 25 years.

He was an avid MSU fan, enjoyed traveling abroad on cruises, the mountains, going to Israel (planned on going back) Southern Gospel Music, spending time with his family, kids and grandkids.

Survivors are his wife of 23 years, Kathryn A. McNair; daughters, Rebecca McNair Calissi (Jeff), Kathryn Rae McNair (John Helmert) and Melissa Granieri; grandchildren: Austin Granieri, William McNair and Juliana Calissi; sisters, Ruth Conn, Rebecca Stokes, Sarah Peebles, his twin-Kay Vance and Nancy Nicholson.
