Meridian - Mr. Williams, 65, of Meridian, passed away at his home on April 17, 2025, after an extended illness. Per his request, there will be no services. He will be buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He was a retired HVAC technician having owned and operated his own business in Alabama for many years. Most recently Scott was the Maintenance Manager for Diversicare in Meridian. He attended Northside Church of Christ. Scott was an avid supporter of Relay for Life. He was a dedicated fan of Auburn Tigers Football, Nascar Racing, and Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds Baseball. He was a collector of many things including sports memorabilia. Scott was a fun-loving guy who cared deeply for his family and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Millie Williams, and his sister, Cindy Lusignas.
Those left to cherish his memory are: friends Robby and Becky Howard, Allen and Christine Yates, Sharon Eakes, Terry Alawine, Glenn Watson and Debby Hamm, and Brandi, Mardy, Moree and Meadow McDonald; his brother-in-law, Phil Lusignas; his caretaker, Eva Hearne; his nieces and nephews, James Rainey, Jason Rainey, Christina Linthicum, Katie McKeehan, Mary Cornwall, and Janie Lusignas; and his beloved cat, Angel.
