Jean Secrest Treadaway passed away on Dec. 30, 2016. She was the next-youngest of 12 children born to Lawrence Wiley Secrest, Sr., and Pearl Graham Secrest. She was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Meridian, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, William Tracy Treadaway; five brothers and five sisters; a son-in-law Price Tillery; and two nephews.

She is survived by one brother, Rea Secrest of Dublin, OH; her daughters Frances Turnage (Lee) of Aberdeen, MS, and Traci Tillery of York, AL; six grandchildren: Jennifer Tillery Wilson (Norman) of Meridian, MS, and Gulf Shores, AL; Drew Tillery of York, AL; Josh Tillery (Casey) of Bailey, MS; Gray Turnage (Jeannie) of Starkville, MS; Virginia Turnage Jones (Tim) of Alexandria, VA; and Mary Graham Turnage Williams (Chris) of Biloxi, MS; eleven great-grandchildren and one precious unborn great-grandchild; and her beloved caregivers, including Donna Allison, Vicki Stewart, Tywenda George and Cindy Thomas.

Funeral service will be graveside at York Cemetery, on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at 2:00 PM.
