Graveside services for Mr. John William Love will begin at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Magnolia Cemetery with the Reverends Dr. Rhett G. Payne, III and Tommy Robinson officiating. Interment will follow graveside rites. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Johnny, 67, peacefully passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at his home following a brief illness.

Johnny was born in Meridian, MS, May 18, 1957. He attended and graduated from Meridian High School in 1975, where he was a member of and played on the MHS Golf Team.

After High School, he attended Meridian Community College where he was a member of and played on the MCC Golf Team. Along with his brother, Larry, Johnny started LJ Candy Company in Meridian, MS in 1975 where he has continued as owner and operator of the company for the last 50 years.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Wyche Love; his brother, Larry Love (Lisa); his sister, Cheryl Robinson (Randy); his mother-in-law, Ann East Wyche; his brother-in-law, Tony Wyche (Sherry); sisters-in-law, Lisa Wyche Harrison and Vicki Wyche Tucker. He is also survived by three nephews, seven nieces, six great-nephews, eight great-nieces, one great-great nephew, and one great-great niece, as well as a host of friends.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents Bert Love and Theresa Bragg Love.

Pallbearers will be John Compton, Andrew Covington, Kenny Watts, Donnie Massey, Grey Cobb, and Bob Huff. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bent Moulds and Buddy Bennett.

The Love Family suggests memorials be made as donations to First Presbyterian Church at 903 23rd Ave. Meridian, MS 39301 in lieu of flowers.
