Meridian - Joyce Dale Wright was born on March 1, 1944, in Meridian, Mississippi, and departed this earthly life on August 20, 2021.

Dale is preceded in death by her parents G.W. and Leverda Wright, brothers Russell Wright (Phylis) and Johnnie Wright (Letha), sisters Evelyn Wright, Dorothy Wright and Esther Miller (M.L.), and sister-in-law Bernice Wright.

Dale is survived by her two children, James Walton, Jr. (Lauren) and Cindy Bial (John), two grandchildren, Matthew Herrington and Suni Herrington (Gabe Gutierrez), and two great grandchildren, Cecelia and Ciara Gutierrez. She is also survived by her siblings, Wayne Wright, Judy Parker (Malcolm), and Randy Wright, and many nieces and nephews.

Dale was a truly beautiful woman, inside and out, who loved her children, grandchildren, and family dearly. Laughter came easily to her, and her kind smile and warm personality made all feel welcome in her presence. She is greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
