Judith "Judy" Bailey Killebrew, 81, of Orange Beach, Al, passed away on January 9, 2025.

Judy was born May 26, 1943 in Meridian, MS to R.P. Bailey and Shirlie Fortenberry Bailey. Judy graduated from Meridian High School and The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Education. She retired in 1998 from Lauderdale County Schools. She was a devoted teacher who took several students under her wing over the years. Judy loved her family dearly. She was an animal lover and bird watcher. Judy was a talented cook, gardener and decorator. She was always admired for her style.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Killebrew; her sister, Joyce.

She is survived by her son, Bailey Koch (Julie); her grandchildren, Bram and Amelia; her brother Robert (Missy); her nieces Melissa and Courtney; her nephews Paul and Robert "Bo"; and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on January 20th, 2025 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Foley, AL.
