Iredell, Tx - With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Julio Trey Perez III, (born March 3rd, 1981), who passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, in Abilene, Texas. He was called home to be with the Lord and now rests in peace.

Trey was a son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. For many years, he worked in construction and as a truck driver, a reflection of his work ethic and determination. He carried a resilient spirit throughout his life and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Dorothy Sawyer, Jessie and Lucia Velasquez, uncle and aunt, Johnny and Lydia Ruiz.

He is survived by his loving parents, Julio and Marlene Perez; his sister, Misty (Perez) Sedillo and her husband, Mike; his sons, Josh Reneau and his wife, Tyreny, and Joseph Reneau; his daughter, Kiley Jaden Perez Goodman, whom he loved deeply; his granddaughters Brynn & Ophelia; his cherished nieces, Mikaela, Micah, and Mia; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Trey found joy in life's simple pleasures, fishing, hunting, road trips, the calming sound of the ocean, and time spent outdoors in nature. He enjoyed cookouts with friends and family, where being together is what mattered most.

Like many lives, Trey's journey held both joys and challenges. Through it all, he remained deeply loved by his family. Those who knew him will remember his stories, his spirit, and the moments they shared.

A Celebration of Life is being planned, and family and friends will be notified once arrangements are finalized.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trey's memorial fund to assist with Celebration of Life expenses.

Though his time here has ended, his life remains woven into the hearts of those who love him.
