Quitman, Alabama - Mrs. Kandace K. Moore, age 69 of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at North Baldwin Infirmary in Bay Minette, Alabama. Mrs. Moore was born and raised in Monroe County and had been a resident of Quitman for the past 10 years. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her father, W.T. Smith. Survivors include her husband, Don Moore, Sr. of Quitman; her mother, Nina V. Smith of Fairhope; her sons, Andy Lambert and wife Amber of Brewton and Don Moore, Jr. and wife Casey of Troy; brothers, David Smith of Fairhope, Ricky Smith of Spanish Fort, and James Smith of Texas; and three grandchildren, Robert Mason Lambert, Brantson Andrew Lambert, and Campbell Edward Moore. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor John Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frisco City. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 3rd from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
