Kenneth F. Jones
Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth F. Jones will begin at 11:00 am Saturday, October 12, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church with the Reverends Doug Goodman and Mike Everett officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Jones, 89, of Meridian, Clarkdale Community, passed away, Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Kenneth was a loving husband, father, and grandad. He loved his wife Bonnie Jean dearly, as well as his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed working on his farm, hunting with his buddies, and being outside. He was a life-long member of New Hope Baptist Church, as well as a deacon. He was a past board member of East Mississippi Community College, Scooba, MS and retired after 30 years from Mississippi Power.
Survivors include wife of 70 years, Bonnie Jean McLemore Jones; daughters in law, Renee Jones Boatner (Buster), and Patsy White Jones. Granddaughter, Stacy Jones Burt (Robby) and grandson, Ricky Jones. Great-grandsons, Robert and William Burt. Sister, Reba Jones Slayton, and a special niece, Billie Jo Sodoma, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his sons, Mike Jones and Lester Jones; parents, Dode and Louise Jones and one brother, Talmadge Jones.
The family request memorials be made as donations to New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund in lieu of flowers.
Pallbearers will be Robby Burt, Ricky Jones, Buster Boatner, Robert Burt, William Burt, Steve Sodoma, Michael Sodoma and Jimmie Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Odd Fellows Sunday School Class.

The Jones family will receive friends from 5:00- 7:00 pm Friday, October 11, 2019 at the funeral home and from 10:00 until service time at New Hope Baptist Church on Saturday.
