Graveside service for Mabron Eugene "Curley" Alford, 86, of Ward will be held Saturday, October 29th at 2 P.M. at the Shorts Cemetery in Ward with Rev. Leon Ballard officiating.
Mr. Alford passed away Wednesday, October 26th at his residence. He was retired from the Army Reserve.
Survivors include his wife Janie Alford of Ward; daughters Jane Glass (Bill) of Linden; Cindy Cook (Bruce) of Whitfield; 2 grandchildren JJ Cook Wedgworth and Bliss Cook Wright; and one great grandchild Louis Tucker Wedgworth.
Pallbearers: Bill Drinkard, Evan Wedgworth, Bruce Cook, Miller Wright, Foster Bell, and James Johnston.
Honorary Pallbearers: Glynn Sherrill, Charlie Koon, Murray Rew, Bill Glass, and William Drinkard.
