Louisville, Mississippi - Marsha Rhodes Eldridge, 52, passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at her residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Phil Fancher officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 1 p.m. until service time at Nowell Massey Funeral Home.

Marsha was born Feb. 8, 1967, to Charles and Betty Dawkins Rhodes. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a graduate of Louisville High School. Marsha was a gifted artist who loved to express herself in her beautiful paintings. She was a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Art. During her many years of teaching in the Meridian area, she was dearly loved by her students as well as everyone with whom she had contact.

Marsha is survived by her daughter Jordyn Eldridge of Birmingham, Alabama; and her son Jacob Eldridge of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her mother Betty Dawkins Rhodes; her grandmother Willie Faye Dawkins; her sister Carolyn Rhodes Dickerson and husband Dale; her brother Glenn Rhodes and wife Debbie all of Louisville. Marsha also leaves behind her aunts Patty (Giles) Peterson and Beverly (Larry) Quinn; in addition to several nieces and nephews and many cousins. She was also greatly loved by her Antioch church family and her attendance there will be missed. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Rhodes and her grandfather Marshall Dawkins.
