Services for Myra Lynn Jackson Burnett will be Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Geiger United Methodist Church with Rev. Wilson Kendricks officiating. Burial will follow in the Souls Chapel Cemetery in Geiger. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Arrangements by Bumpers Funeral Home of York.
Mrs. Burnett, 85, of Geiger, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at her residence.
Survivors include her son Richard O. Burnett (Shirley) of Geiger; daughter, Betty Lynn Farmer (Joe) of Columbus, MS; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a very special caregiver, Frankie Ann Collins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Burnett; daughter, Deborah Briggs; seven brothers; and one sister.
Pallbearers will be Joe Wright, Brad Farmer, Gerald Briggs, Luke Sciple, Zack Sciple, and Bubba Bryan. Honorary pallbearers are Lonnie Shields, Fredrick Sparks, and Junior Brown.
