Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Ridinger, 76, of Meridian, passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Ouida loved her family dearly, especially her nieces and nephews, who she referred to as her children as well. She retired from Sally Beauty Supply as a manager after a career in beauty sales of nearly 40 years. She enjoyed traveling to the Smokey Mountains with family as long as her health permitted.
Mrs. Ouida is survived by her children, Barney "Tony" Ridinger, Roxanne Weldon (Jerry), and Geraldine Brewer; grandson, Cole Poole; sisters, Janet McKie (Bob), and Jean Raley (Roy) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Mrs. Ridinger is preceded in death by her husband, James Arthur "Buddy" Ridinger; parents, William Barney Brown and Dora Lee Brown Welch; sister, Annie Pearl Crabb; and brothers, William Thomas Brown, and James "Jimmy" Thead.
Pallbearers will be James Raley, Cole Poole, Tommy Beasley II, Matthew Beasley, Tyler Partridge and Aaron Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Raley, Bob McKie, and Jerry Weldon.
The family suggests memorials be made as donations to The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at robertbarhamffh.com.
The Ridinger family will receive friends from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to funeral rights.
