Patricia Ann Obituary

Quitman, Mississippi - Patricia Ann (Sullivan) Sisson, 70, of Enterprise, Mississippi passed away on July 24, 2023, at

H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman, MS.

Patty was born on January 18, 1953, in Billings, MT, and was the daughter of Ross and Mary

(Street) Sullivan.

Patty is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 25 years, Terry Charles Sisson, 9

Sisters, Jane (Jim) Nelson, Mary (Jim) Fellers, Margaret Sullivan, Rita Sullivan, Maureen (Bill)

Krivit, Kathleen (Toby) Radenbaugh, Ellen (John) Schaaf, Ann (Scott) Bowen, Bonnie (Kyle)

Trahan, 6 Brothers, David (Kim) Sullivan, Danny (LeRores) Sullivan, Johnny (Jenny) Sullivan,

Larry (Betsi) Sullivan, Ross (Ramona) Sullivan, George (Joy) Sullivan, and Uncle, Murphy

Street. She is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved and cherished their time spent

with Aunt Patty.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Ross and Mary Sullivan, Sister, Linda Sue, and

Brother, Robert.

Patty was a devout Catholic and attended Cardinal Newman and Spring Valley High Schools in

Columbia, South Carolina. While attending the University of South Carolina's College of

Nursing, she often recruited her younger siblings to play "patient" as she checked their vitals,

administered shots, etc. Patty earned her BS in Nursing in 1976 at USC. She then completed

the University of South Carolina's School of Medicine-Nurse Anesthesia program. Patty traveled

throughout the US as a freelance CRNA, easily connecting with people from all walks of life. Her

intellect and curiosity drew her to medicine, nature, art, and religion. She often marveled at the

various creatures and landscapes she encountered. She was an avid reader and was perfectly

happy discussing a range of topics including challenges of organic chemistry to the history of

the Catholic Church through the Dark Ages. She lived out her golden years with the love of her

life and devoted husband Terry, collecting antiques, art, and a bounty of furry friends.

"Pitter-Pat" was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend who made this world a better place with her

beautiful smile, infectious laugh, thoughtful gestures, and faithful friendship. "A new command I

give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." (John 13:34)

Funeral Mass services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Patrick's Catholic
