Meridian - Mrs. Patricia Sims McMullen passed away Nov. 19, 2022, at the age of 80. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 3456 KOA Campground Road, Meridian, Miss. Visitation began at 12 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m.

She is survived by her daughter Dana (Perry) McDaniel of Lewisburg, Tenn. and her son Darren (Rita) McMullen of Meridian, Miss; sisters, Freda (Bert) Spiers of Saucier, Miss. and Jan (Jim) Collins of Conway, Ark. and a brother, Jerry (Karen) Sims of Clinton, Miss.; grandchildren: Ryan Bunty, Adam Bunty, Megan Jenkins, Kaitlin Binkley, Victoria Heinen, Beau McMullen, Cooper McMullen, JJ Zettler, Lauren Anderson, PJ McDaniel, and Amanda Jennings; and 32 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Wayne (Bo) McMullen; her parents, James J. and Annie Laura Allen Sims; her sister, Annie Ruth Sims Higginbotham, and brother, Mark Allen Sims.
