QUITMAN - Radie Joyce Sheely Hyatt, 86, of Meridian, Miss., passed away on June 2, 2021, at her residence.

She was born on June 5, 1934, to Edward and Eula Craig (Hughes) Sheely in Meridian, Miss.

Joyce is survived by a daughter, Deborah J. Madison; son, Stanley E. Lee; daughter, Anita L. (Gene) Tolbird; step-daughter, Shelia (Daryl) McCraney, step-daughter, Shirley Knight; step-son, Allen (Kathy) Hyatt; brother, Edward N. (Emily) Sheely Jr., numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward N. Sheely Sr.; mother, Eula Craig Sheely; beloved husband, George Willie Hyatt.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 4, 2021, at 12:30 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Miss.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at 1:30 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pam Randall officiating.

Burial will take place in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Meridian, Miss. with a graveside service beginning at 3 p.m.
