Ruben A. Stevens Obituary

Funeral services for Ruben A. Stevens will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Rock Branch Baptist Church, with Bro. Danny Chaney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with Stephens Funeral Home of Union in charge of the arrangements.


Mr. Stevens, 73, of Union, passed away March 31 at Hilltop Manor.


Ruben was a longtime employee at Bill Ethridge Lincoln Mercury Isuzu. Hes the oldest of nine children and is deeply loved by all.


He is survived by his wife, Betty; his siblings, Mary Williams, Jane Reese, Patsy Black, Elmer Jenkins, Rosie Burt, and Danny Stevens, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lois Stevens, brothers, Charles B.B. Stevens and Bobby Ray Stevens.
