Vanessa Lofton, age 57, died Sept 23, 2018. She worked as a nurse in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi area for over 25 years. Survivors include her daughter, Jessica Rasberry: grand-children Rose Rasberry, David Rasberry; mother, Dorothy Fikes (Ed); siblings, Linda Lofton, Angelia Oliver (Marshall), Brenda Graves, Ira S. Lofton, Irene Lofton, Kathryn Lofton, Victor Lofton, Barbara Lofton, Danny Lofton, David Lofton, and Samuel Lofton. She was preceded in death by her father, Ira Lofton. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 29 at Victory Full Gospel, 1716 Edwards St, Hattiesburg, MS 39401. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Lupus Research Alliance, 275 Madison Avenue, New York, NY.
