Foley, AL - Vernon Floyd "Pee Wee" Brown, 97, of Enterprise, passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Foley, AL.

Vernon, known by most as Pee Wee, was born to Edward Washington and Susie Kate (Hyde) Brown on May 23, 1927, in Meridian, MS. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. As a Master Mason of 74 years, he was true and faithful to his Masonic Brotherhood. His sons fondly remember his love for gardening, fishing, and watching his favorite baseball teams, the Atlanta Braves, MS State, and Meridian Community College. Pee Wee will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Edward R. "Eddie" Brown (Joanne) and Donald C. "Don" Brown (Krista); his grandchildren, Christopher M. Brown, Andrew L. Brown (Sarah), Kaleb J. Naseman (Karley), London K. Naseman, and Leah N. Brown; his great grandchildren, Lucy Grace Brown, Delta Lynn Brown, and Dakota Grayson Brown; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Susie Brown; his beloved wife of 73 years, Sadie Louise Brown; his daughter, Kimberly Ann Naseman Wilson; along with his siblings, Edward C. Brown, Ralph Alonzo Brown, Buford H. Brown, Agnes Aunita Harbour, Dorothy Anna Gill, Susie Rebecca "Ruth" Ray, Ollie Jean Walston, and Carol Mae Leggett.

Visitation for Vernon will be held on Friday, May 2nd, from 10-11:00 am at Enterprise Baptist Church. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am with Bro. Evan Akins officiating the service. Vernon will be laid to rest next to his beloved bride in Enterprise Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers for Vernon's service will be members of his Masonic Brotherhood: Donnie Moore, Keith Buckley, Mickey Dickerson, Charley Fage, and Terry Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made in Vernon's honor to St. Jude Children's Hospital, to the local Masonic Lodge or one of their members, or to a favorite charity of your choice.
