William Leland Lee Dial, of Livingston, Alabama passed away December 2, 2018, following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Livingston First Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Reverend Matt Kelley will officiate. Interment will follow immediately after in the family plot at Boyd Cemetery.

Lee was a lifelong resident of Sumter County, Alabama. He was predeceased by his parents, Betty Belle Aust Dial and Jim Allen Dial, infant brother, Jerry Lynn Dial of Emelle, Alabama. Lee served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He owned and operated C & L Timber Company and Lee Dial Logging in Livingston for many years.

Lee touched many lives and will truly be missed. He leaves not to mourn, but to cherish his special memory his devoted wife, Barbara Blair Dial, two sons, Christopher (Kimberly) Dial and Lucas Dial, two grandchildren, Luke and Grant Dial, brother, Jim Allen Dial, Jr. (Donna), and a host of devoted relatives and friends. Lee will be lovingly remembered by his family and an abundance of friends.

Pallbearers are Tommy Smith, Bryan Crawford, Bill York, Danny Hanley, Terry Brown, Clark Blair, Bird Dial, and Jimmy Dial. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Hendricks, Robert Beard, and Bass Smith.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Lees memory to Dixie Girl Dog Rescue - 3557 Cahaba Beach Rd. Birmingham, AL 35242 or the charity of their choice. In remembrance of Lee who never met a stranger, do a good deed for someone.
